About me
My Story
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and from a very young age I was drawn towards sound and musical instruments. As a kid, I used to "borrow" without consent my father's portable tape recorder and take it to the playground to record the games I played with childhood friends, I probably erased without knowing more than one important interview my father was working on for one of his books...Something very similar to this:

Music was always present when growing up, my parents owned a very diverse record collection that included Ray Charles, The Beatles, Tina Turner, Santana, Bob Marley, Edith Piaf and also Latin American artists like Ruben Blades and Willie Colón. I also had an uncle that would gift me albums from bands Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin and Kiss on every Christmas. Thanks to this background, I fully understand the techniques required for different styles of music.

I've had the pleasure to learn and collaborate with a diverse range of people, companies and brands.
After finishing my studies at the now extinct "Taller de Arte Sonoro" and graduating with a Bachelor's Degree on Sound and Music Production, I started my career working as an on-site Audio Engineer at Remoto Studios. There, I was able to learn a lot of my audio editing skills working for filmmakers like Luis Armando Roche and Jacobo Penzo.

The role also involved recording bands and artists like Wahala, Roñettes and Malanga.

My musical studies and work with Latin Grammy Nominee Gerry Weil also gave me the understanding and techniques necessary to write, produce and arrange high quality music.

I've been also very fortunate to learn and work with legendary musician and producer Diego Márquez during the recording, mixing and live performance of different artists.

As a composer and music producer, I've also worked for TV programs, Films and varied musical projects ranging from Electronic, Punk, Rock, Reggae, Classical and Pop.

All of this experience and wide range of influences has given me the tools and skills to record, process, manipulate, mix and master any type of audio material.
